There’s nothing worse than tossing and turning at night, praying for a bit of shut-eye before the morning alarm goes off.

But people say they’ve found a ‘life-changing’ solution to the common problem - and claim it’s ‘even better than sleeping pills’.

With thousands of rave reviews online, bad sleepers say the affordable pillow spray has helped them to fall asleep ‘as soon as their head hits the pillow’.

One five-star review reads: “This product works amazingly. Just a couple of sprays on the pillow and before you know it, you’re waking up after a full night’s sleep. It’s incredible - you fall asleep faster and stay asleep. The proof is in my Fitbit duration report. I used to be awake for three or more hours and now less than 30 minutes! Love it!”

Another happy customer described the spray as like ‘going to sleep in a field of lavender.” Their comment reads: “It worked miracles, I came straight to the website and bought a large bottle! At night, I manage to get to sleep so much quicker which means I'm not overthinking for hours.”

A third said their husband, who previously struggled to fall asleep, is now dreaming for the first time. “My husband has always had such a hard time sleeping and since using the spray has slept so solid he is in dream sleep,” they wrote. “He said: ‘I’ve never dreamed before and now I dream, they’re weird dreams but I dream’. Amazing.”

On TikTok, word has also caught on. One social media user loves it so much, they've asked the brand to sponsor them. In the clip,@camrieraeann said: "I swear it actually works. I used to have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Now, the only thing that wakes me up is if I have to pee so bad, it literally hurts my bladder. You won't regret it, I promise."

What is the viral pillow spray everyone is talking about?

The viral product in question is the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. Designed to reduce anxiety and help you to drift off easier, it’s a unique blend of lavender, camomile, and vetivert. All you need to do is spritz the product onto your pillow a few minutes before bed.

According to the website, 90% of users fell asleep faster than usual after using the product and 98% of people felt more refreshed in the morning. So if you struggle to drift off, it might be worth a try.

How does the viral sleep spray work?

The award-winning sleep spray is armed with essential oils designed to 'bring calm to the body and mind'. We're talking lavender (known to help boost the production of serotonin), camomile (widely referred to online as a 'mild sedative'), and vetiver (an essential oil renowned for promoting sleep).

It's worth noting that essential oils won't necessarily work for everyone, but it might be worth a try if you're struggling to get some decent shut-eye.

Where to buy the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray on offer

The Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (250ml) is currently reduced from £40 to £32 on the official This Works website. Just make sure to hurry if you’re interested, the reviews speak for themselves.
