Feeling like embarking on a 60km run or hosting a party with your pals? Here's how to raise awareness for men's health this month.

The hairy month is here, and this Movember will be bigger than ever.

Supporters all over the country are celebrating being back together face-to-face, and are energetically galvanising their communities to raise awareness for men’s health.

There’s still time to join the Movember movement and help raise life-saving funds for mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer - all to stop men dying too young.

While it’s a name on everyone’s upper lip this time of year, it’s a time to reflect that this global campaign was first launched from humble beginnings by Travis Garone and Luke Slattery almost two decades ago as the two grabbed a quiet beer in Melbourne.

Since then, the two entrepreneurs and men’s health advocates have seen the movement grow to six million Mo Bros and Mo Sisters while funding more than 1,250 men’s health projects worldwide.

While we all harness the power of the Mo, and Growing a Mo is the ULTIMATE conversation starter, this epic community is for everyone. Gather around folks, there are so many ways to get involved.

For those who prioritise the importance of physical activity, you can Move for Movember and commit to walking or running 60kms over the entire month for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour across the globe.

Feeling festive? Hosting a Mo-ment with your friends and family might be the best avenue for the social butterflies out there. What’s better than being surrounded by your nearest and dearest while getting your inner circle fired up to have fun doin’ good?

And lastly, for the adrenaline junkies, why not Mo Your Own Way to generate some hair-raising funds? This is definitely the wild card of the three - a choose-your-own-adventure challenge where you make the rules and set your goals while inspiring others to donate.
