An interactive map which can tell you if you’d be able to escape a nuclear blast unscathed in the UK has been released.
The risk of being caught up in a nuclear war used to seem like a past fear, but ever since World War 3 talks have been doing rounds, things have gotten scary.
In light of the Russia and Ukraine conflict, and then the Israel and Palestine tensions, it seemed like a global war could start at any moment.
Even though Russia have said they won’t be nuking us any time soon, the nation has made a few comments about bombing us, and officials even have a map.

This comes after the ex-deputy prime minister of Russia revealed the list of 23 towns allegedly included in its attack plan.
Not only has the nation apparently got a list, but simulations have depicted how being bombed could look like on Russian media outlets.
Former deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin, who use to lead Russia's defence industry, is allegedly the person we can thank for making the dreaded list of British targeted locations public.
Rogozin published it, which highlights potential targets in the UK for WW3.
In light of this scary news, an interactive map has been discovered which can tell you if you’d be safe in your home if a nuke dropped.
The website, called NUKEMAP, allows you to choose your nuke, your location, and even detonate it yourself to see the fallout zone, blast radius, and more.
Thankfully, it let me know that if any of these Russian ‘targets’ were hit, little old me is safe and sound from the initial blast, and the fallout. Even if I use the largest nuke available.
Here is the full list of the alleged targets so you can test it for yourself:
- Glasgow – BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Thales

This includes the Scottish Highlands, Snowdonia National Park, the Outer Hebrides, and Dartmoor and Exmoor.
