Jeremy Clarkson refuses to diet and give up alcohol after health troubles and cancer all clear
Jeremy Clarkson has said that he has no intention of sticking to a specialised diet after a cancer scare.
The Clarkson's Farm star shared that he was diagnosed with cancer after doctors found a tumour during a medical checkup, and has since shared the story of his recovery and urged people to go for cancer screenings.
After being 'unwell for a short amount of time', Clarkson has said that he is now back out and about, with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan advising him to switch up his diet after the diagnosis.
Speaking to the The Times, Clarkson said that he is not planning to stick to this new diet long-term.

Although he has said that he will make some adjustments, Clarkson was determined that he is not going to forgo some pleasures after going into remission from cancer.
"Sure, I can eat less and more healthily. I can become a herbivore, and yes, I can got for 20-mile hikes and do 20,000 steps a day," he said. "But the truth is, there has to be some joy in life as well.
"And not drinking and not eating a pork chop means there is less joy in life. And I haven't worked my a*** off for 40 years to have no joy in my old age."
He added: "So I'm having joy in my old age.'
Nonetheless, while he is determined to still have some enjoyment, Clarkson has conceded that he wants to make some adjustments for the sake of his health, saying previously that he wants to be able to see his grandchildren grow up.
These adjustments have included 'driving slower', eating more vegetables, and walking more for some exercise.
Clarkson had previously revealed he had an 'aggressive' type of cancer on the show Clarkson's Farm, telling his shocked co-stars Charlie and Kaleb Cooper about the diagnosis.
They had been discussing plans for the upcoming harvest when he shared the news, saying: "I've got cancer."
He went on to say: "I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know.
"I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it's going to be slap bang in the middle."
Clarkson has since spoken several times about his cancer diagnosis, including urging people who are in at risk groups to not feel embarrassed and to get themselves checked out.
This included speaking to former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, who it was also revealed had received treatment for prostate cancer.
"I was talking to David [Cameron] about it earlier this morning," said Clarkson. "He said the amount of people that come up to him is mostly in public conveniences and say, 'If you hadn’t owned up to it, I wouldn’t have got checked', and they wouldn’t have found it.
"So now there’s a group of us, [restaurant critic] Giles Coren, David, me, one or two other people, and we meet for lunch every so often."
