The rapper, 44, stated that his daughter, North West, age 8, was allowed to post videos on the platform “against his will”.

West wrote on Instagram next to a screenshot of his daughter: “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ? [sic]”.

The screenshot is from @kimandnorth’s latest video, which was posted just days before Kanye’s Instagram post, and depicted the 8-year-old and her mother dancing to Kourtney Kardashian’s original TikTok sound.

Kim has since responded to Kanye's Instagram post, stating that his "constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create."

She went on to explain that she is their children's "main provider and caregiver" and is doing her utmost to "protect" North.

Kim then stated that she wishes to "handle all matters regarding our children privately" and "amicably".

To sign up for TikTok, users must be at least 13 years of age. If a user signs up under the age of 13, they are automatically enrolled into TikTok for Younger Users, which is aimed at this age group and includes "additional privacy and safety" features.

As North setup the profile with her mum's "supervision", it is not clear whether or not her profile is part of the Younger Users section, or not.

Kanye’s plea comes as his ex-wife filed for divorce in December 2021, with court files which stated that “no counselling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time,” according to the documents which were obtained by TMZ.

This isn’t the only altercation which Kanye and his ex-wife have been involved in as of recent moments, the rapper also recently went live on social media to tell fans he “wasn’t allowed” to go to his daughter Chicago’s birthday party.

At the time, the musician shouted out to Travis Scott for sending him the address of his own daughter’s celebrations, so he could attend.

The record producer, now known as Ye, has also recently gone viral on Twitter for appearing to diss his ex-wife’s new partner, Pete Davidson, with the lyrics of his new single Eazy.

West raps in the single with The Game: “God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**”, referencing the car crash in 2002 which almost took his life.

West is now officially dating Julia Fox, a 31-year-old actor and mother-of-one.
