North West's finger piercings continue to remain at the forefront of fans minds, so her superstar mum has spoken out in her defence once again.
It seems that Kim Kardashian doesn't fear the ferocity of TikTok comment sections, as for the second time, she's swooped right into the thick of one for the sake of her daughter.
Unless you've been on a digital detox, it's highly likely that you've seen the online discourse surrounding the evolution of North's appearance.
The 12-year-old has left a lot of parents clutching their pearls in recent months because of her fake face tattoos, colourful hair, mature outfits and, of course, her finger piercing.

She debuted the controversial body modification during a trip to Rome, Italy, with her mother Kim in August but, months on, people are still mortified by it.
It is believed that North has got a 'dermal piercing', which an expert previously warned is a 'particularly risky' one to get...especially as she is 'so young'.
According to California law, under-18s can only get a body piercing with the permission and in the presence of their parent or guardian.
So, seeing as though Kim or Kanye, who share joint custody over North since their divorce was finalised in 2022, has presumably given her the aforementioned permission, the socialite turned aspiring lawyer has also been getting a fair bit of flack.
During an appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast in October, the reality star said she 'would never take [North's] creativity away from her' when it comes to expressing herself through style.
Mother-of-four Kim, 45, also urged people 'to not be judgmental' about her parenting, adding: "Have grace for single mums trying to figure it all out with a pre-teen. It's a lot."
However, as social media users seemingly can't stop discussing the jewellery adorning North's finger, she has now leaped to her daughter's defence once again.
A TikTok user shared a short clip to the platform which stated: "North West getting a finger piercing is breaking my heart, just me?"
After getting wind of the video, Kim left a somewhat sarcastic comment from the TikTok account she shares with her eldest child (@kimandnorth) which read: "It's okay," alongside a heart hands emoji.
Well, we can presume it was left by the Skims founder - as Kim previously confessed that North doesn't mind confronting her critics herself.
It turns out that the 12-year-old was the author behind a comment from their TikTok account left under a clip about her finger piercing a few weeks ago that said: "This is such a non-issue."
Although most people initially presumed Kim was the one who wrote it, the mum later revealed that it's North who deserves the credit for the 'good clap back'.
Whoever typed out the response, it's clear that both Kim and North are becoming weary with the constant conversation about the finger piercing.
