If you're looking to class up your 'Goon of Fortune' sessions with some fancy flavours that aren't your average Fruity Lexia, then your wish has been granted.

Aldi Australia has released a goddamn range of cocktail goonsacks right in time for New Year's Eve.

They come in a variety of delicious flavours and are perfect for those who want the taste of an expertly-mixed beveragino, minus the hassle. In fact, all you have to do is chuck some ice in a tall glass, pour, and you're good to go.

Among the delicious flavours include:

  • Pina Colada, which is a mix of white rum, pineapple juice and coconut.
  • Lime Mojito is a refreshing mix of white rum, lime juice and fresh mint flavour.
  • Gin & Juice is a classic mix of gin, elderflower, sugar syrup and lemon juice.
  • Cosmopolitan is a blend of vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice.

The boozy arrivals have already gotten social media users excited, with many posting their enthusiasm over the new range one on the Aldi Mums page.

"I think I'm going to have to buy 10 of the Cosmopolitan casks," said one user.

Said another: "I'm in heaven. These are so good!"

The cocktail casks are available now for around $20 at selected New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria and Western Australia Aldi stores while stocks last.

If that doesn't tickle your fancy but you still want bougie cheap wine then there is a hack for that.

a bloke who goes by the name of Mashed Shroom on Reddit has revealed he puts his Fruity Lexia boxed wine in his Soda Stream to create instant and cheap sparkling wine.

It's not as simple as just filling the bottle with your favourite box of plonk and hitting 'Go', however. You have to be careful with what you're doing.

Mashed Shroom wrote: "You gotta be a bit cagey with the CO2 pumps to prevent explosion.

"The number one problem with the legendary goon-sack is it cannot handle the pressure of a carbonated beverage."

When asked what he thought of his beautiful creation, we replied with: "Give it a go c**t, slow and steady, no explosions. Works a treat! Worth it."

I mean, when you put it like that, it's difficult not to go to the closest bottlo and give it a try at home.

You can pretty much put anything that is decently liquidy into a Soda Stream-like machine and create a bubbly drink. I say 'pretty much' because people would try and make bubbly chocolate ice-cream sauce and it would end in tears.
