Bakers Delight will be pulling out all the stops when they sell their delicious Pink Fun Buns from 28 April to 18 May as part of their annual BCNA Pink Bun campaign.

While some people don’t need any convincing to pick up something delicious from Baker’s Delight, the campaign will see 100 per cent of sales from all Fun Buns sold go to Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), who support all Aussies affected by breast cancer.

The support from Bakers Delight will allow BCNA to be the voice for all Aussies affected by breast cancer.

Their support includes advocating for all women and men with breast cancer, providing a way to connect with others throughout their breast cancer experiences and supplying the best information and support to Aussies to enable them to make informed decisions about their treatment and care.

Plus, for the first time ever Bakers Delight have introduced their new Fun Bun Friends for the BCNA Pink Bun campaign.

These three new Fun Bun Friends toys, Alvie, Flossy and Queenie, are a sugar free, kid-friendly alternative to a Pink Fun Bun. You can buy one or collect all three at your local bakery, and all the proceeds from Fun Bun Friends sales will also go to BCNA

Bakers Delight Joint CEO Elise Gillespie said the Pink Bun campaign never ceases to disappoint, as men and women across Australia band together every year to support the cause while indulging in mouth-watering delights.

“Every year a sea of pink ladies takes over our bakeries and Franchisees and team members once again dedicate their time and money to the cause,” she said.

Bakers Delight has been in partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) for over 21 years, this partnership has helped BCNA continue to support the 57 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

Since 1999, Bakers Delight has raised a jaw-dropping AU $21 million for BCNA.

CEO of BCNA Kirsten Pilatti, stating she was overwhelmed by the positive response and the ongoing support of the bakery franchise.

“We would not be able to provide the level of support we do, free of charge, without the support of Bakers Delight Franchisees across the country and their teams,” she said.

“As the local bakery, Bakers Delight are in a unique position to form strong connections with their communities and when these communities come together it’s amazing to see the difference they can make.”

Bakers Delight serves nothing but the freshest baked bread and pastries that vary from artisanal sourdoughs to their beloved Finger Buns that always capture a little nostalgia.

Since they opened their first bakery in Hawthorn, Victoria, in 1980, the bakery’s vision has always been to cultivate a sense of belonging achieved by one pastry at a time.
