Close your eyes: now imagine putting dozens of chicken nuggets into your mouth and feeling the breaded bird ignite your tastebuds before it falls down your throat. Pretty vivid isn't it?

When you order chicken nuggets, you usually only get a couple and they're not exactly the beacon of clean, healthy eating. But what if there was a way that you could knock back dozens of nuggets without the associated unhealthiness?

Coles is here to save the day by releasing own-brand chips that taste exactly like chicken nuggets.

An eagle-eyed shopper was perusing the aisles at their local Coles and spotted the new addition to the crisp section and thought they would post a cheeky picture to the Facebook group Addicted to Bargains.

People have flocked to the comments section to demand more answers and some have even posted their results. The post has received a whopping 11,000 comments and more than 4,100 shares.

One user wrote: "Tried them yesterday taste a bit like Kettle Honey Soy."

Another added: "I feel like today finding this out could only turn out one of two ways could either be the best thing to ever happen or the worst thing to ever happen!"

A third said: "Shut the front door. I am coming down right now."

One goddamn genius commented on the post that if you want to switch up the game, you could crush up the chips and cover your actual chicken in them before roasting. Now that would be one hell of a good meal.

Coles did have a page on its website for the chicken nugget delights, however it's since been suspiciously removed. Does that mean they're no longer being sold? We need to know. No doubt people are flocking to their local Coles to see if they can get their grubby mitts on a packet or two.

You can get a packet of these bad boys now for $3.
