A driver has revealed exactly why you might not want to travel behind a timber truck and potentially replicate a scene from Final Destination.

A video has been uploaded to TikTok showing how a log had slammed into the vehicle behind and narrowly avoided killing the driver.

The rogue timber log could be seen directly in the middle of the window, appearing to miss both seats in the front of the truck.

TikTok user @alow420 posted the video and it has received more than three million views. It's since been reposted on Twitter with the caption: "Pretty sure this is every millennial's nightmare."

Loads of people agreed and asked why anyone would ever drive behind a timber truck.

One person replied saying: "Final Destination taught us to avoid EVERYTHING at all costs! Lol."

Another said it wasn't just logs on trucks that viewers of the film are now carrying around underlying phobias of.

They wrote: "As a millennial I have been taught never to drive anywhere near this... Final Destination also ruined laser eye surgery, garbage disposals, pigeons, dentists, goldfish, tanning salons."

Another agreed, adding: "Why we switch lanes, don't walk under billboards, cross the street when they're installing glass in a building, and avoid John Deer lawnmowers close to barbed wire fences."

If you haven't seen 2003's Final Destination 2, then this will probably be all meaningless to you.

The film franchise revolves around how the protagonist gets a premonition of something terrible happening and they managed to stop people dying when events start mirroring what they saw in the vision.

However over the course of the film, the people who were saved all end up dying in absolutely messed up ways.

Cue the log truck in the second instalment.

Thanks to a loose chain and some shoddy stacking practices, the truck serves as the cataclysmic event that sets off a chain reaction of horrible deaths.

One log slams into a cop car and comes out vey bloody on the other side, another one pins a motorcyclist and loads of cars go flipping, spinning and exploding as they try to avoid the accident.

But the main character manages to stop all these deaths from happened until, you guessed it, they end up dying anyway later on.
