Harry Potter Star Hilariously Trolls Peter Dutton And Says 'Our Time Will Come, My Lord'

Jamie Waylett, who famously played Vincent Crabbe in six of the eight Harry Potter films, reached out to the newly appointed Liberal leader.

Harry Potter star hilariously trolled Peter Dutton, likening him to Voldemort and telling him, ‘Our time will come, my lord’.

Jamie Waylett, who famously played Vincent Crabbe in six of the eight Harry Potter films, reached out to the newly appointed Leader of the Opposition in a Cameo video message.

FriendlyJordies then reposted the video on TikTok, where the actor is captured saying: “Hey Dutt, Crabbe here. I’m sorry Tanya (Plibersek) outed you as being Voldemort. Your time will come, my lord.”

Waylett then points to his gnarly Death Eater tattoo, saying: “Your time will come soon, your time will come. Hopefully, no one else finds out, and we can take over, and we’ll get stronger day by day.

“The rest of the Slytherins reached out, and they told me. So as soon as I heard, I thought, I have to get in contact with you and make this possible, and just sort this out because no one can know our secret.”

He continued: “I mean, no one can know that you’re still about. As far as everyone is concerned, you know, you’re gone, but we know the truth, so our time will come, your time will come.

“My lord.”

Waylett made the hysterical video after Tanya Plibersek suggested the former Defence Minister looked like the fictitious Harry Potter villain.

While appearing on 4BC Radio, she said: "I think there will be a lot of children who have watched a lot of Harry Potter films who will be very frightened of what they are seeing on TV at night, that's for sure.

When asked to clarify what she meant by her comment, Plibersek added: "I am saying he looks a bit like Voldemort, and we will see whether he can do what he promised he would do when he was last running for leader, which is smile more."

However, a spokesperson for Plibersek revealed she had reached out to the new Liberal Party leader to ‘unreservedly’ apologise for her remarks.

Dutton responded to the comparison while speaking with 2GB radio.

He said: "You read that sort of stuff online and it's sort of the sewer of Twitter… I just don't think you need to be nasty and mean."

Dutton also expressed that he was not 'bald by choice' and his hair loss was due to a skin condition.

"I'm not the prettiest bloke on the block but I'm hopeful I'll be pretty effective," he said.
