A man in Vancouver has died in a freak accident while at a McDonald's drive-thru.
The bloke had rocked up to the restaurant's takeaway service on Main Street and Terminal Avenue at 5:30 in the morning and ordered his meal.
When he pulled through to the payment counter, he dropped his bank card on the pavement below.

The man got out of the car to retrieve the card, however, the car rolled forward and went over the top of him.
The vehicle pinned him to the ground and he was eventually sandwiched between the car door and a structural piece of the restaurant, according to Canada's Global News.
The Vancouver Police Department said he died at the scene.

"This is an absolutely heartbreaking scenario. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of this man."
The police department's Collision Investigation Unit and British Columbia Coroner Services are now investigating the incident.
The Vancouver Sun cited a McDonald's spokesperson, who said staff who witnessed the devastating incident are being supported through the company's Employee Assistance Program.

Constable Tania Visintin told 680 News it would have been horrific to be helpless in a situation like that.
"People aren't used to seeing this type of incident happen, especially at your workplace. I would assume everyone is shaken up," she said.
"Usually when we hear about a fatal motor vehicle accident it [is] usually, typically a crash with another vehicle. So the fact that no other vehicle was involved... this seems like a freak accident."
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the fatality is urged to get in touch with authorities as they continue their investigation.
