There's no city or town in Australia that doesn't have at least one weird thing about it and Melbourne is no exception.
But even with its artsy culture and hipster vibes, you can only imagine how weirded out people in Footscray would have been on their way to work this morning.
A video uploaded to Brown Cardigan shows a person dressed in a massive penis costume dancing on the road.

The Johnson is seen bouncing around before it shoots its load all over the bitchumen.
The video doesn't go long enough to reveal what the penis does next and if it goes floppy after climaxing or gets to have another round running down the street.
Judging from the first run-through, it seems like it's pretty difficult to walk around in the costume so it's likely the person might have retired.

The clip has been seen more than 300,000 times and people have been understandably blown away by what the hell is going on in Melbourne.
Right at the start of the video, you can see that while the penis is dancing around on the road, there is a massive eye and humungous foot on the sidewalk.
They all belong to the Snuff Puppets, a Melbourne collective of puppeteers and puppet-makers who have been making loads of similar creations for decades.
The group has shown their wonderful creations in places around Europe, where they got similarly weird looks from passersby.

Well, a giant penis ejaculating on the street certainly fits the bill.
