Scientist Warns Men’s Penises Are Shrinking And It Could Have Big Effect On Mankind’s Survival

Sperm counts have also dropped by more than 50 per cent in Western countries in the past 40 years.

An award-winning scientist has made a shocking revelation that could shake humanity to its core: penises are shrinking.

Dr Shanna Swan is one of the world’s leading reproductive epidemiologists and her research indicates men are suffering from higher rates of erectile dysfunction and babies are being born with smaller junk.

In her research, published in her book Count Down, she believes microplastics and pollutants are seeing babies unable to develop properly, causing an overall ‘feminisation’ of society.

While penis size has weirdly often been a keen topic of conversation in ‘locker room talk’, the revelation is much more worrying than one would believe.

Not only are we being left with smaller penises, but sperm counts have dropped by more than 50 percent in Western countries in the past 40 or 50 years.

Dr Swan believes her findings show a ‘global existential crisis’ brewing and has pointed to the growing number of toxic chemicals such as phthalates used for food packaging, which she alleges impact how certain hormones are produced.

According to the Daily Star, she writes in her book: “Chemicals in our environment and unhealthy lifestyle practices in our modern world are disrupting our hormonal balance, causing various degrees of reproductive havoc.

"Babies are now entering the world already contaminated with chemicals because of the substances they absorb in the womb.”

Lab rats that have been exposed to phthalates have seen their male babies born with smaller reproductive organs.

These chemicals struggle to break down in the environment or the human body, meaning they get built up over time and have a massive impact on a baby’s development.

Dr Swan has gone as far as claiming humans are an ‘endangered’ species.

She writes that there are five factors that can see a species defined as ‘endangered’, with ‘the current state of affairs for humans’ meeting at least three.

Well, in more penis-related news, a recent study conducted by online pharmacy From Mars used Google data from 86 countries to conduct a study determining the largest and smallest average penis sizes in the world.

Pharmacist Navin Khosla, who reviewed the study, said: “Whether people are concerned about the size or the shape, or any other aspect for that matter, most of us have wondered at some point or another whether ours is big enough.”

He added: “Penis size can have a massive impact on confidence and self-image."

According to the study, men in Ecuador are the most well-endowed, with an average penis size of 6.93 inches when erect. This makes the measurement more than 10 per cent of the average height.

Of course, there can’t be a biggest without a smallest.

The study found that Cambodians have the smallest penis size when erect, coming in at just 3.95 inches long.
