A woman has revealed that she makes her boyfriend FaceTime her during his entire 12-hour shift.

TikTok user Nela said it's not because she doesn't trust that he's working his backside for half a day, it's because she doesn't trust other people.

The woman is concerned Jose's colleagues will hit on him during his shift and apparently that's a big no no.

So, the best way she can keep a watchful eye on him is make sure he has his phone camera pointed at him at all times.

Nela will be able to see who he speaks to, when, in what context and for how long. She will get to see all his breaks and what he gets up to during those moments of reprieve.

A TikTok video uploaded to her account shows him repeatedly packing boxes at what looks like a warehouse while the small FaceTime window shows she's either sitting in bed or doing house chores.

Lord knows how the bloke's phone battery lasts through a half-day shift when he's constantly on FaceTime.

Her TikTok video explaining the bizarre work rule has been viewed more than 5.6 million times and people have gone in her for invading his privacy.

One person wrote: "This isn't normal. If you trust him, you'd trust that if a female walked up to him he would say he has a girlfriend or ignore her."

Another added: "Yikes, this is too much. I feel bad for him. If there's no trust in the relationship it ain't going to work for you, sis."

A third said: "I'm sorry, but he's going to leave you in the end. I used to be like this and it really takes a toll on guys. Better change fast."

According to 7News, Nela revealed in another video that Jose was her 'only friend' and she felt 'sad and depressed' when he was at work for so long.

Bizarrely, her boyfriend called her 'toxic' behaviour out on his own TikTok account.

Why couples decide to spill the beans on such a public platform rather than address their issues privately is beyond me.

Jose said: "My girlfriend be so toxic, she be making me send her screenshots of what time I clock out."

But he followed it up saying he wouldn't leave her because she's the 'baddest'.
