Commuters at a London train station were shocked to find the Scottish Beyoncé performing his brand new single.

Lewis Capaldi announced on Friday (25 November) that his new single 'Pointless' would be releasing next week (2 December).

In his announcement on Twitter, Capaldi gave fans a short 30-second preview on the new song, and they are loving it.

To hype it up even more Capaldi went to London's St Pancras International train station to perform 'Pointless' on a piano in front of shocked commuters.

In a video uploaded to the Official UK Charts TikTok account, you can see Capaldi performing his new single, with onlookers recording on their phone.

Alongside performing his new track on the piano, Capaldi is also seen in the video on the outskirts of the station handing out flyers advertising his new single like he is recruiting for a five-a-side football team.

The musician is also seen at crossing surrounded by a few people when he is asked by the camera operator whether they know 'they are in the presence of the king of streaming', in which Capaldi replied 'I don't think they have got a clue'.

We know from a video uploaded by the man himself to his official TikTok account that a 'little girl' was on the piano before he performed.

In the video, Capaldi goes up to the young girl, shakes her hand, and compliments her on how she plays the piano.

In what is a truly heartwarming moment, Capaldi takes to the piano with the girl looking on, standing right by his side.

People have been reacting to Capaldi surprising commuters this week, and in particular for that lovely surprise for the young girl.

One person on TikTok said: "Everyday I have an unusual increase in my amount of love for Lewis Capaldi."

A second added: "Absolutely amazing Lewis keeping being you 1 of a kind."

And a third person said: "The way she watched so intently and did so well, she has a bright future with the piano."

'Pointless', which is actually co-written by Ed Sheeran, is Capaldi's second single since his big music comeback earlier this year.
