Lorraine Kelly has come under fire for her comments after saying Madonna 'looks like a boiled egg'.
The 64-year-old singer clearly missed, leaving the audience to draw their own very obvious conclusions from the video while she ended the clip with a shrug.
Fans were sent into a meltdown at the apparent revelation, with the video picking up over 1.3 million views in an hour and reaching an even wider audience since then.
However, one person who didn't seem to be as much of a fan of the video was TV host Lorraine Kelly, who has received some backlash after comparing the singer's appearance to a 'boiled egg'.
The host was chatting to Ross King on Lorraine this morning (10 October) when she made the comments about the music legend's appearance.
She said: "Is that actually Madonna? I don't recognise her!
"Honestly, what's she done? She was so beautiful - why, why, why do women do this to themselves.
"She looks like a boiled egg, she doesn't look like she's got any features. I'm cross because I really like her, I really do."
Lorraine also talked about the video Madonna recently posted, saying: "I don't understand what she's doing there, I'm not sure what that's all about."
Lorraine has come under fire for her comments, with some viewers taking to social media to say she was out of order for making the comparison.
One person said it was 'not a very nice thing to say', while another blasted her as 'vile, fake and pathetic' for her comments and asked 'what has @lorraine done to her personality'.
Others didn't like that Lorraine compared Madonna's appearance to that of 67-year-old singer Annie Lennox, with one saying there was no need to 'pit one woman against the other'.
Some said Lorraine was 'body shaming' Madonna with her comments.
However, some people agreed with Lorraine and found the funny side to her comments as someone said they were 'howling' at her saying Madonna looked like a boiled egg while another said the verdict from Lorraine 'finished me this morning'.
Someone else said they agreed with Lorraine and found it 'sad' that celebrities felt the need to 'fill their faces with botox and collagen'.
LADbible have contacted Lorraine's representatives for comment.
