A TikToker who said he deducted $1 (74p) from his fiancee's Valentine's Day gift fund every day she shouted at him has caused a big debate online. Check out the video below:

Isaac Ramirez (@iisaac.ramirezz) from Santa Paula opted to take a dollar away each time his fiancee, Carolina Fernandez, yelled at him over the past year.

While Isaac thought the plan was clever, others were less impressed with the TikToker.

Some even suggested that the couple should break up due to 'red flags'.

After slowly taking away money from the Valentine's Day pot, the total racked up to 320 times in just 364 days.

"Last year I put $360 (£265.37) away for my fiancée’s Valentine's Day gift, but I took away $1 every day she yelled at me," he wrote in the video, after showing off an envelope labelled as 'Valentine's Day 2022'.

The first envelope was stacked with cash, but the clip then cut to him removing some of the money and putting it in another envelope, which had the words 'Treat yourself king' written on it.

"Now her gift limit is $40 (£29.49) and I saved myself $320 (£235.88)," he continued.

"Now all she’s getting is flowers and chocolates," Isaac captioned it.

"It's time to find a new girl if she's yelling at you 320 days of the year dawg," one viewer wrote.

"Save $360 (£265.37) instead by breaking up," another agreed.

Someone else added: "Yelling at someone 320 days of the year ain't normal."

"If she yelled at you 320 days in a year, I don't think she's the one. But that's just me," read a fourth comment.

However, others disagreed and slammed Isaac for his idea.

One wrote: "Some men don't deserve women.

"I hope she finds someone that gives her more than doing petty things to take away from the relationship."

Another commented: "Like you don't give her reasons to yell?"

"Why'd you do something worth yelling?" asked a different TikTok user.

Others were more concerned with the 'state' of their relationship.

"I'm no expert, but is this a healthy way to behave in a relationship?" asked one.

"All I'm getting is red flags from both of you," wrote another, while a third added: "I love being in a healthy and communicating relationship."

"Why are you still together?" someone else asked, to which the TikToker defended himself and replied: "Toxic couples are stronger than regular couples."
