Man who made £6,000 with side hustle as teenager now a millionaire

Man who made £6,000 with side hustle as teenager now a millionaire

Jacob Blank became a millionaire at 18 through real estate, but was also making thousands years beforehand with a very clever side hustle

A man has revealed how he managed to make $7,000 (£6,100) through a simple ‘side hustle’ when he was just 15 years old, having also encouraged his friends to get involved so they could also make some solid cash. Find out how he did it here:

Jacob Blank, 20, regularly shares his tips to success on TikTok (@jacobblank), having managed to grow his fortune through wholesaling real estate - in turn becoming a millionaire by the age of 18.

But years before making his first million, Blank was also raking some serious cash in while still at school, explaining in a video how he had an interesting 'side hustle' that generated thousands.

Blank, from Arizona, shared a video on TikTok, writing: “The best side hustle!”

In the clip, he explained how he would take old items from family and friends and sell them on for a profit.

Blank said: “I leveraged up, offer eBay and Craigslist in order to do this.

“First I sold all my old toys that I didn’t want anymore, and once I ran out of my own stuff that I owned to sell, I reached out to my parents and I said ‘Hey, is there anything in the house that you want to get rid of?’ and I sold it and they let me keep all the profit.”

Blank was just 15 when he made £6,100 'flipping junk'.

He continued: “Now that I ran out of stuff I started to need to make strategic partnerships and start scaling this like an actual business.

“So I reached out to different people. I reached out to my grandma’s handy man and he had a bunch of tools in his garage that he wanted to get rid of.

“I told him that I would provide a service to him and sell all his stuff and do all the work and get rid of everything he didn’t want and we could split the profits 50/50.

“I provided him with an easy service and helped him make money while I still made money, and he wanted to do it.

"And now I got a bunch more inventory."

Blank said he even eventually got his friends involved in the straightforward operation, in turn helping them make a bit of cash themselves.

He added: “I partnered with friends, sold their old toys and split the profits and so on.

“And I scaled this like a business and I wound up making a ton of money at 15 years old.”
