A female heckler tried to land a punch on a comedian during a gig before he dodged her swing like a scene from The Matrix. Watch a video of the incident below:

James Kilvington, 32, was at a gig in Middlebrough for inexperienced comics and a member of the audience was giving him stick all night.

The footage shows the 32-year-old having to initially dodge a drink that was thrown at him from the woman in the audience, before asking a member of staff to remove the rowdy member.

As the culprit was walking out, James said that she was being thrown out because she 'hadn't shut the f*** up all the way through' the act.

All of a sudden the woman began walking up to the comedian and squared up to him face to face. That's when she decided the throw a swing at his face, which he dodged like a prime Mike Tyson.

Soon after she was finally removed from the venue.

James, from Middlesbrough, said: "I had 39 senior fights in boxing and she was my 40th. I boxed at all classes at the highest level possible as an amateur.

"As she came towards me I could see she was going to punch me and being an ex-boxer it was so easy to block her and get her out of the way.

"She turned around and asked aggressively what did you say. I told her she hadn't shut up and I turned to the crowd and joked she was at it again.

"She was on the phone so didn't realise I was talking about her and I again told her she hadn't shut up which is when she threw her pint at me.

"I just knew when she turned her drink that she was going to fling it towards me so I moved out of the way. I was fuming. I couldn't keep her in the room so told the manager to get rid of her."

"Halfway through the night I went back on stage and the room was really relaxed and nice because she'd walked out.

"I said 'thank god she's gone' as it was nice to be able to hear myself talk. As I said that she walked back in and everyone started laughing."

Although the footage was from January 2020, James has only just uploaded the video to social media recently and the altercation has already been viewed over 900,000 times.

One user joked: "Didn't know Mike Tyson did stand up."

A second user added: "Very well handled. Best of luck in the fight too."
