Passengers hold vote to boot woman off plane before takeoff

The passengers showed an odd demonstration of democracy aboard the Frontiers Airline flight

Passengers have held a vote to boot one woman off a plane before takeoff after some pretty rowdy behaviour.

Nearly an entire cabin of people rallied together in a strange, but nonetheless incredibly entertaining, show of democracy after making the unilateral decision that they had had enough of one particular passenger's conduct on-board.

After what felt like a lifetime of back-and-fourth drama, one man decided to take a stand against the pesky passenger and held an impromptu referendum to remove her from the aircraft altogether.

Flying can always be a slightly stressful situation.

What with sub-par toilet facilities, over-priced food and drink and the inevitable screaming toddler - it's clear that many of us would love to avoid the ordeal altogether if we could.

But, alas, we cannot - however I'm sure we all wish we could solve all the aircraft drama with some good old-fashioned democracy.

And for one Frontiers Airlines flight flying from New Jersey to Atlanta, Georgia, this is exactly what happened.

Passenger Lanaisli Li recorded footage on-board the flight which showed a heated argument taking place on the busy service which was reportedly triggered by a disagreement over seating allocation.

Typical.

The footage showed one woman and her partner get kicked off the plane after starting a fight with another passenger.

In the clip, the two women can be seen shouting at one another across the length of the aircraft, with the second woman accused of antagonising the couple for the duration of the 'entire flight'.

"You wanna be a d*** to people, we're gonna be a d*** back."

Lanaisli has since uploaded three separate videos to TikTok chronicling the events.

The three clips have since gone viral with the first racking up 3.9 million views, the second amassing 6.1 million and the third and final garnering a more than a staggering 6.7 million views - clocking up over 16 millions views between them.

In the most-viewed clip of the trio, one particularly aggravated passenger can be heard putting the vote to the cabin.

He declared: "There are 40-50 people here that would like her to be removed from the flight.

"If you want her removed from the flight - please raise your hand."

And, to no one's surprise, a whole load of hands instantly shot right up into the air to vote the woman off the plane.

"I'm not even kidding," he continued. "If you can hear me, raise your hand if you want her removed from the flight."

The flyer reiterated: "I'm not even kidding - I've got 40 hands up."

As an off-screen passenger tries to de-escalate the heated situation, the man hits back saying: "Sir, I want her off the plane.

"I don't care, I'm trying to prove a point. You wanna be a d*** to people, we're gonna be a d*** back."

Guess that passenger will think twice before causing a scene on-board again...

LADbible has reached out to Frontier Airlines for comment on the matter.
