President Donald Trump revealed he has been diagnosed with a health condition called chronic venous insufficiency, which comes after people started to point out swelling and bruising on his body.
As well as the ongoing uproar surrounding the Epstein files with former supporters like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk turning against him, plus criticism for his handling of the ICE raids, it's fair to say Trump has got a lot on his plate.
Concerned fans and critics alike had noticed Trump was bruising easily, after large contusions had been spotted on the back of his hand earlier this year, as well as swollen ankles.
Speculation was rife that the 79-year-old had been on an IV drip or similar, with many questioning his health or fitness and his ability to be in such a position of power.

In April, he shared the results of his physical and cognitive exams to try and silence any complaints, but the White House has since revealed the president's new chronic diagnosis.

What is chronic venous insufficiency?
It has been revealed that Trump has been suffering from something called chronic venous insufficiency, which is caused by damage to the veins.
The illness basically means blood flow isn't managed as well as it should be in the body and the heart and veins have to work much harder to pump blood around.

It is a common disorder with older age, impacting some one in 20 people over the age of 50.
Chronic venous insufficiency can cause swelling and skin discolouration, as well as varicose veins, but in more severe cases there can be ulcers.
Sitting down a lot can worsen the condition, and high blood pressure can also make it more painful, along with a lack of exercise and being overweight.
What has the White House said about Trump's diagnosis?
Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump noticed 'mild swelling' and underwent an ultrasound on his legs which revealed the diagnosis.

She went on to add that the bruises on his hand came from 'frequent handshaking' and insisted the president 'remains in excellent health.'
The White House said the hand bruising was 'consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen'.
"This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy, and the president remains in excellent health,” Leavitt added.
Leavitt told The Independent: "President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other president in history.
“His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”

How serious is chronic venous insufficiency?
It isn't believed to be life-threatening, and is more of a nuisance in most cases.
If it is more severe, a sufferer may have to take blood thinners in order to prevent clots.
According to Trump's previous medical records, he already takes aspirin, a blood thinner.

Walking to increase the blood flow and elevating the legs is also recommended.
What are the signs of chronic venous insufficiency?
Trump had noticeably swollen ankles at recent events, as well as the visible bruising on his hands.
Many sufferers notice varicose veins and cramps. More severe cases can develop ulcers in the veins.
Sufferers of the condition also complain of a heavy or full feeling in the legs, and can be treated using surgery or compression socks.
