Romanian teen claims Andrew Tate approached her on social media using specific formula
Romanian teenagers have described about how Andrew Tate allegedly approached them on social media when they were still in high school.
One of the teens, named Daria, claimed she was just 16 years old when she received a private message on Instagram from an account apparently belonging to Tate, who was almost 20 years older than her.
Her friends had also received messages, despite Daria claiming it was 'obvious' they were in high school at the time.

"We had our high school in our bio and everything. I think he was just trying to find girls who were as innocent or naïve as possible, in my opinion," Daria told BBC News.
The message to Daria, seen in a screenshot shared with the publication, just read 'Romanian girl' along with 'some flirty emoji' of a strawberry.
"I was confused because I [only] had 200 followers, and it was a private account," Daria said.
The message appeared to align with a 'formula' that Tate used to message women online. In a video shared online, the influencer appeared to instruct others on how to approach women, saying: "In my experience, what raises intrigue [and] inspires them to respond [is]… I ask where they are...
"Sometimes [for] intrigue, I'll put a completely pointless emoji on the end: some cherries, or an orange, or a strawberry."
Daria, who is now in university, claimed boys she went to school with accused of lying about the message, but noted that her accusers 'don't find anything strange about all the other allegations' against Tate.
She also noted that many men her age idolise Tate, saying: "This is a big problem because we can't wake up in 20 years with two million Andrew Tates."
Another teen, identified using the pseudonym Gabriela, claimed she was 17 when she received a message apparently from Tate's brother, Tristan, though she later pretended she was 19.
The first message read: "You're beautiful".
Commenting on the interaction, Gabriela said she 'knew he was using the same approach with other girls' as a friend of hers had received the exact same message.
"He always starts the conversation with the same exact line: 'You're beautiful'," she claimed.
In his video online, Tate says 'you are beautiful' isn't a bad opening, but claims the 'perfect example' of a conversation begins after establishing where the reader is.
At that point, the influencer apparently advises men to to ask: "'Why do I never see you? Where are you hiding?' 99 percent of them say [they're] not hiding."
Gabriela's exchange appeared to follow this exact pattern, with the next message apparently from Tristan reading: "Feel I've seen you around town before somewhere. Is that possible? Where have you been hiding?"
"It is likely," Gabriela responded. "I didn't hide."
Gabriela claimed she turned down invitations out in his car and to a party, then posted a video about Tristan on social media.
After her post, she received a message reading: "Important people will never want to write you if they see you do stuff like this. Just a friendly warning."
The messages received by both Gabriela and Daria came from accounts whose handles appear to match those used by Andrew and Tristan Tate before they were banned from the platform, however, the BBC noted it has been unable to independently verify their authenticity.
It is also possible the messages may have been sent from the accounts from someone working on the Tate brothers' behalf.
The pair have not yet been charged, but they are being held in Romania as police investigated allegations of rape and trafficking.
The brothers have denied the allegations.
