Little-known hack to claim six months of Amazon Prime for free for students revealed

There’s nothing us Brits love more than a good deal, and millions of us could be eligible for a cheaper Amazon Prime membership, with a whopping six months free.

How to claim a free six-month Amazon Prime trial now

Millions of Brits are eligible to claim six months of Amazon Prime for free, but are you one of them?

To qualify for the offer, you must either be a student enrolled in higher education or aged between 18-22.

Students, you’ll need to provide an email address associated with your college or university. If you don’t have access to this, you can email Amazon with proof of ID. To be eligible, your higher education institution must be based in the UK or Ireland.

You will be able to keep your discounted account for the entirety of your studies or for up to four years. During your time with Amazon, you’ll bag 10% off thousands of textbooks, comics, audiobooks, and ebooks. If you're heading home for the weekend, you can even claim 15% off coach tickets, too.

If you want to claim the offer based on your age instead, then all you need to do is provide documented proof of age, whether that’s a driving license or passport. Your account will last until you turn 23, saving you lots of money until then.

How to claim a standard 30-day free trial now

If you’re not eligible for the above offers, then you can still apply for a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial. All you need to do is sign up and create an account here. Thereafter, an Amazon Prime account will cost £8.99 per month or £95 annually.
