Pitch invaders have made their way onto the pitch in a Champions Final yet again.

They made their way onto the field in the opening seconds of the long-awaited face-off between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

One of them even managed to run far enough to pull the 'Si' celebration, made popular by Portuguese footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo, though he was later tackled to the ground by Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Marcel Sabitzer.

Another invader managed to get a photo with British star Jude Bellingham, who started for Los Blancos.

Fans online can't believe that match security has let it happen again, seeing the competition's history of having famous pitch invaders.

They took to X, formerly Twitter to share their annoyance at the situation.

One user posted: "How has this pitch invader got into the pitch in such a massive sporting event, he could've had a bomb or anything, security were miles away"

Another commented: "Pitch invader goes unchallenged and disrupts start to game. Delay of two minutes."

A different user claimed: "Sabitzer taking down a pitch invader is all we needed to know about Dortmund's mindset,

"I think we are going to have a GAME sports fans."

A fourth pointed out: "Champions League Final in England and we have a pitch invader 1 minute in.

"Security at Wembley continues to be a joke, learnt nothing from the Euro final."

It look as though the pitch invaders were all part of an elaborate stunt.

The invaders ran on the pitch with 'Mellstroy' on their shirts - Mellstroy is known as a popular Kick streamer.

Borussia Dortmund face off against Real Madrid in the first Champions League final to be hosted at Wembley since 2013, when the former played Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid are the favourites, but both sides will hope that these pitch invaders will be the last off-pitch distraction tonight.

There may have been only two pitch invaders so far, but it hasn't stopped fans in the past from getting onto the pitch late on to get as close as possible to their idols.
