The three pitch invaders who disrupted the Champions League final are set to get an eye-watering '£300,000' for their stunt.

During last night's final - which saw Real Madrid triumph over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley - three fans temporarily derailed the match by storming onto the pitch.

The invaders made quite the impression during the short time they were on the pitch, with one performing Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark 'Si' celebration before being tackled to the ground by Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Marcel Sabitzer.

Meanwhile, another invader even managed to pose for a photo with Madrid forward Vinicius Junior before being hauled off the pitch.

After disrupting a match as big as the Champions League final you'd imagine these fans would be facing a fine or even getting arrested for their actions - and that's on top of being the target of angry football fans who couldn't believe a game had been disrupted by pitch invaders yet again.

Doesn't seem worth it right?

However, for this lucky trio, the decision to storm the pitch may lead to a massive payday - all thanks to the name written on their shirt.

Eagle eyed viewers will have clocked that the three invaders were all wearing shirts with the word 'Mellstroy' written on the front and back, and were keen to show the phrase off to the camera.

Curious as to what on earth 'Mellstroy' could mean? Turns out its the name of a controversial Russian blogger and popular Kick streamer called Andrey Burim.

The 25-year-old has an Instagram following of over 3 million and is infamous in Russia for his video game and daily life streams. He was also arrested in 2020 for assaulting a model during a live stream.

Prior to Saturday night's final, the streamer offered up a prize of £300,000 to anyone willing to storm the pitch while wearing his name on their clothing.

Its not yet known if they will receive £300,000 or have to split the money - or even if Burim will follow through on his promise and pay out - but that's a lot of money for a few minutes of work.

It'll also soften the blow of being dealt a lengthy stadium ban on top of being arrested.

Following the incident, a spokesperson for Wembley Stadium condemned the pitch invasion, saying: "It is illegal to enter the field of play at Wembley Stadium, and we strongly condemn the actions of those who interrupted the UEFA Champions League Final shortly after kick-off.

"All of the individuals have now been arrested. We will support the relevant authorities to ensure appropriate action is taken."
