Boxer Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller had something of a bad hair day during his heavyweight clash against Kingsley Ibeh.
The 37-year-old's toupee took a serious beating from his rival during the bout at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (31 January) - so much so that his hairpiece ended up becoming dislodged.
Footage, which has since gone viral, shows how every punch that Ibeh landed ended up gradually unseating the partial wig that Miller was sporting on top of his head.
By the time his opponent was finished raining down an array of brutal blows, the toupee was clinging on for dear life.

Given that it's one of the most bizarre things to have happened in boxing in a while, social media has erupted after a video of the fight in New York City started circulating online.

Miller and Ibeh were on the undercard for Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson’s battle for the WBO super-lightweight title this weekend.
However, the hair-raising incident involving the Brooklyn-born boxer has somewhat upstaged the main event. And you can understand why, as it's not every day that a fighter's hair goes flying when they are in the ring.
Take a look at this:
Even the DAZN commentators couldn't believe their eyes, as one was heard saying: "Wow! That is going to make the rounds on social media. That's like a cartoon! It's a toupee!"
Miller's toupee appeared to become unglued from the top of his head due to the power of Ibeh's punches, before it eventually detached itself from his head.
He took the awkward moment on the chin, though, as at the end of the round, he decided to hurl his hairpiece into the crowd - prompting a host of people in the audience to try it on for size.

Hilariously, the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimá, shared a snap of himself retrieving the toupee on X, captioned: "Found it!"
He is said to have safely recovered it before British boxing star Fabio Wardley kept an eye on it, as the 31-year-old shared a video showing how he put it on the seat next to him for 'safe keeping'.
Despite having to continue the fight with his scalp bare, Miller managed to secure a win via split decision (94-96, 97-93, 97-93).
The former kickboxer also revealed how he ended up donning a hairpiece in the ring, as he explained that he had somewhat scorched his hair off in the days leading up to the fight.
"So, it’s kinda funny, right?" Miller laughed. "I get to my mama’s house, and she had some shampoo bottles under her table, and I shampooed it.

"That s*** was like ammonia and bleach. I nearly lost my hair like two days ago, so I called my manager: 'Let me slap that s*** on my on head real quick'. And [Ibeh] slapped that s*** off!'"
Viewers were left stunned by what unfolded at Madison Square Garden, as one social media user said: "I have never seen anything like this. I’d just leave the ring, the building and the country."
Another said: "Well, that’s a first. Hit so hard your hair gets knocked off in a boxing match."
A third added: "Man punched the hair off his head. There's a first time for everything," while a fourth joked: "I never thought I'll see a wig fly off in a men's boxing match, but this is 2026, crazy things are happening.
"You step in that ring, there’s a price toupee."
