If you're a fan of Planet Funk's hit 'Chase the Sun', you're in luck - as we will hopefully be hearing it quite a lot over the next few weeks.
Each time one of the Three Lions hits the back of the net during the 2026 World Cup, the hit released back in 2000 rings out in the stadium while the crowd goes wild.
Some folks are wondering why the song that has become synonymous with darts is being blasted in celebration, and luckily for you lot, we're here to fill you in on why.
The song was heard four times in the Dallas Stadium in Texas on Wednesday (17 June) evening, as England managed to bag a series of incredible goals while competing against Croatia.

Captain Harry Kane bagged two shots, while aces Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford then followed up to secure a 4-2 win.

But for most Brits, 'Chase the Sun' is something which reminds them of darts, rather than footballers frantically running around the pitch in the hopes of bringing it home.
The track by the Italian electronic band Planet Funk is often played when the likes of Luke Littler and other expert throwers take to the stage at the Alexandra Palace.
Taking to social media, one person said: "Chase the Sun goal music? This World Cup has truly arrived."
Another added: "England’s chosen goal music is Chase the Sun… the darts is massive!"
A third queried: "Wait...they have Planet Funk's Chase the Sun AKA the darts song playing after England score!?"
A fourth pointed out: "How ironic our goal song is Chase the Sun from the darts as England are the darts world champions."

While a fifth chimed in saying: "Big fan of Chase The Sun as an England goal song!"
So - even though it's a foot tapping tune that the majority of people enjoy listening to - why is it playing each time England score?
Well, it's all down to FIFA bringing in stadium audio regulations for this year's tournament.
This year, each nation is allowed to submit a personal song choice, which will play in celebration after each goal.
The scoring team's federation for each country competing in the 2026 World Cup submitted a song choice ahead of time.
For example, Germany selected Peter Schilling's 'Major Tom', while Mexico have opted for mariachi tunes.
Fittingly, after England's triumph over Croatia came to a close on Wednesday evening, 'Three Lions' - the 1996 hit sang by David Baddiel, Frank Skinner and The Lightning Seed - was heard thumping through the stadium.
