
The Cook County Medical Examiner has shared an update following the death of ex-WWE star Benjamin Satterley - known as Pac.
The British-born wrestler passed away on Sunday (27 September) aged just 40.
His tragic death came just one day after he took part in AEW's All Out event in Chicago, where he wrestled Andrade El Idolo and fought in the main event.
In an update this evening, a spokesperson from the Cook County Medical Examiner told LADbible that he passed away at 4.08pm (local time) and confirmed that an autopsy had taken place.

They added: “Cause and manner of death are pending for additional testing. It may be several weeks before results are available.”
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Satterley started his professional wrestling career in 2004 and competed for promotions around the world.

He first found fame competing in the WWE under the name Adrian Neville, and later signed with All Elite Wrestling (AWE).
In 2022, he made history as the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion in 2022 and was also an acclaimed AEW World Trios Champion.
His passing was announced by AWE in a statement shared online.
"All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the statement read.
“A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.
"Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history.
"Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans."
AEW boss Tony Khan shared a touching tribute to Satterley, ahead of Monday’s taping of Ring of Honor in Jacksonville, Florida.
“I’m here today with you in Jacksonville for the Ring of Honor tapings, but I’m also here to talk to you about something more important than wrestling,” Khan said.
“Somebody who epitomized the very best of wrestling and the very best of humanity.”
He went on to say that Satterley was ‘one of the best people’ he’s ever known.
“Ben was an absolutely fantastic wrestler, absolutely fantastic human being, a great person to work with, and a great person to spend time with,” he continued.
“Before we begin the wrestling today, and for these tapings, I would like to have a 10-bell salute for PAC. Please, if we could have a moment of silence for a 10-bell salute.”
Tributes have poured in from across the wrestling community.
WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman described it as a 'truly terrible loss' adding: "He was a tremendous talent and even finer human being".
Meanwhile AEW wrestler Evil Uno said: "I am in shock. This is heartbreaking.
"We have lost another great person, a great soul, a true professional."
AEW star Nick Wayne also shared a tribute, recalling conversations he’d shared with Satterley over the years.
"His conversations, advice, and positive thoughts going into things is something I always cherished,” he wrote.
"PAC is one of the greatest innovators and Professional Wrestlers to ever do it."
