Alysha Newman is a woman who can do both

You can take the woman out of OnlyFans for a few days while she competes at the Paris Olympics, but there's no chance of you taking her spirit.

Alysha Newman's OnlyFans subscribers have probably been wondering why her uploads on the saucy site hit a slump over the last couple of weeks or so, but she does have a decent excuse for the sudden blackout.

I mean, competing for your country and claiming Canada's first Olympic medal in the pole vault in a whopping 112 years - and the first ever in the women's event - does kind of take precedence.

But Newman appeared to make it clear to her loyal subscribers who support her in the adult industry were still on her mind while she put in a bronze-winning performance on Wednesday (7 August) after admirably clearing a height of 4.85 metres on her second attempt.

She was pipped to the post by Australia's Nina Kennedy, who bagged the gold, while US athlete Katie Moon secured the silver in the Women's Pole Vault.

However, Newman still appeared to be over the moon with her achievement and bounded straight up off of the mat to bask in the glory of her triumph for Canada.

Fans then briefly feared that the 30-year-old had hurt herself during her pole vault as she seemingly gestured towards her hamstring as though she was suggesting she had pulled a muscle, as per The Mirror.

But it turns out Newman was actually just feigning injury to set herself up for quite the provocative celebration, which is sure to go down in history - along with all the hilarious other viral moments we've seen - with the Paris 2024 Olympics.

To the crowd's surprise, she then bent her legs, placed her hands on her thighs and started to throw it back.

Yes - she decided a quick twerking routine was the best way to commemorate her earning a bronze medal on the world stage...before she then burst into fits of giggles after clocking how stunned the audience were.

To be quiet honest, I'm sure a lot of us would like to shake our a*se in celebration if we managed to secure a spot at the podium - so who can blame her?

Well, there are a few people who on the fence about the appropriateness of her triumphant 'twerk', including a BBC commentator who was covering the track and field event.

They had just six words to say about Newman's impromptu dance: "I'm not sure about that celebration."

Although they might not be on board with the Canadian shaking what her mamma gave her, the majority of social media users thought the whole schtick - from the 'fake hammy' injury to the twerk - was hilarious.

One said: "Did Alysha Newman just successfully pole vault AND TWERK? LET'S GO GIRLS."

Another said: "She’s having fun and will definitely turn a profit. Just saying!"

A third wrote: "Bronze for Alysha Newman in pole vault, gold for Newman in best celebrations of the Paris Olympics."

And a fourth added: "She has multiple talents, haha. She won the bronze medal because she excelled. Period. She earned it."

Newman shared a post on her OnlyFans page following her Olympic triumph, praising her subscribers for supporting her and explaining she was overjoyed with her achievement.

The model wrote: "I did it! So happy to announce that I am taking home the BRONZE MEDAL and set a new NATIONAL RECORD for Canada. I am still buzzing from the energy!!!

"Thank you guys so much for sharing this moment with me, might pick up some presents for you guys before I leave."
