Viewers think Travis Kelce missed opportunity as he embraces Taylor Swift after Super Bowl win

The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in Las Vegas tonight

Viewers think Travis Kelce missed a big opportunity as he embraced Taylor Swift after Super Bowl win.

It was a big night for Swifties and NFL fans as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

After a whole load of debating whether or not Swift would actually make it to the Super Bowl after performing in Tokyo, she watched on with celebrity pals including Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

The ‘Midnights’ singer was there supporting her boyfriend Kelce who is a tight end for the Chiefs.

The big game was filled with all kinds of rumours, including fans hoping for Justin Bieber would appear during Usher’s halftime show.

And another huge rumour was that Kelce would propose to Swift after the game.

But much to the disappointment of many major Swifties and fans of the NFL player, there was no appearance of a ring on the field.

Videos are already doing the rounds on social media as the famed couple hug and kiss following the Chief’s big win following a historic overtime game.

Users on X called them the ‘best couple in the league’ as one simply wrote: “We wanted Kelce to propose.”

Another put: “Bro I swear he was gonna propose.”

And one fan asked: “Where’s the proposal?”

But plenty just called it ‘so freakin cute’ and said it’s a ‘love story’.

As well as all the Swifties and Chiefs fans, the big win for Kelce’s team will certainly have made rapper Drake pretty happy as he placed a whopping $1.15 million bet on the Super Bowl.

The ‘One Dance’ star shared his Super Bowl bet on Instagram as he said he ‘can’t bet against the Swifties’. And it's a good job he didn't, as he just made over $1 million (£791,850) thanks to the Chiefs.

It was estimated the rapper will pick up a $2.346 million (£1,857,680) pay-out - a gain of $1.196 million (£947,052) - for the Chiefs win.

While Kelce and his team played on the field below, it seemed Swift had a pretty good night in her box, celebrating with Lively and chugging beers as the crowd cheered her on.

However, some viewers weren’t totally happy with how much the camera panned to the singer during coverage of the game.

One wrote: “I’m so tired of them putting the camera on Taylor Swift."

And another added: “It’s not her fault, so I’m not hating on her. But, has there ever been another non-player or coach shown more times during a Super Bowl than Taylor Swift?”
