Drake could be set to win incredible amount of money if Tyson Fury beats Oleksandr Usyk

The rapper is back at it again, and has bet an obscene amount that could win him almost twice his stake

Three things are certain in life: Death, taxes and Drake betting an obscene amount on sporting events.

The Canadian rapper has been preoccupied with a major diss track battle with Kendrick Lamar, even needing to address some criminal allegations in the process.

But it has been over two weeks since one of the music legends have dropped a new track, and though the hate is still there, the battle might be over - for now.

As expected, Drake, 37, has turned his attention to the upcoming Ring of Fire event tonight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Tyson Fury facing off against Oleksandr Usyk in the main event to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

A lot weighs on the fight, and I'm not just talking about the titles or the jaw-dropping amount of prize money up for grabs.

If you're a fellow fan watching the fight tonight (Saturday 18 May), then you might be tempted to stick some money on who you think will win the long-awaited bout.

The original fight was meant to take place in February this year, if not for a serious training injury sustained by Fury, who has now been cleared.

Although, the odds really are too close to call, with there being no clear favourite, with Fury slightly edging it on most betting sites despite both being undefeated throughout their respective careers.

Drake is famously a betting man, having previously bet hundreds of thousands on the Joshua-Ngannou fight and over a million dollars on the Super Bowl so far this year.

So it should come as no shock to people when the 'One Dance' artist posted his latest bet, one on the Fury vs Usyk bout.

The artist posted the screenshot on his Instagram story, revealing that he has $565,000 (£444,000) on the Whythenshawe-born fighter to emerge victorious against his Ukrainian counterpart.

If successful, he will take home $1,000,050 (£578,000) in winnings, which is an obscene amount of money, though it might be the equivalent of about £50/60 to the man himself.

Previously known for having a sporting curse, Drake has since broken his duck with a few winning bets, but the question is, can he do it again?

At the weigh-in last night (Friday 17 May), Fury looked fired up, a change to how he came across in the final press-conference on Thursday night.

Speaking at the weigh-in, Fury said: "Fireworks tomorrow night. I'm gonna knock this little fu**er spark out!

"I'm coming for his heart, that's what I'm coming for, f**k his belts, he's getting it tomorrow, spark out. F**k his team too, f**k the lot of them, they can all get it if they want."

How to watch Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk

The PPV (pay-per-view) fight will be streaming on Dazn for £24.99.

It will also be available on the Dazn app in over 200 countries, across the world. So, if you happen to be away on holiday or travelling that evening, you’ll still be able to catch the highly anticipated bout, with prices varying depending on the location.

Another option is Sky Sports, where the PPV (pay-per-view) will cost £24.95. You can either watch it through Sky or on NOW.

And last but not least is via TNT Sports. And thankfully, you don’t need a TNT Sports subscription to tune in. It will cost £24.99 and it can be accessed through Discovery+, BT, EE, Sky and Virgin Media.

How do I use the Dazn app?

You can access the Dazn app on a number of different devices and platforms. From Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire sticks, Roku and a variety of smart TVs, you can also access it on Android phones and tablets, iPhones, iPads and gaming devices such as the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

You can also tune in via a web browser via DAZN.com.

What time is the match taking place?

Here in the UK, the ringwalks for Fury vs. Usyk are scheduled for 11:05pm. But these timings could be subject to change, so you’ll want to keep an eye on the app to make sure you don’t miss any of the action.

Afterwards, it will be clear who the number one fighter in the heavyweight division is. And not only that, the eventual result will determine who will also become the first heavyweight boxer to become an undisputed champion in the four belt era.
