A suit and tie is the usual outfit of choice for football managers, but Bayern Munich’s boss Vincent Kompany has broken the mould.
Fashion fans and football supporters can’t get enough of Kompany’s drip, from black puffer coats, cargo trousers to his most recent khaki parka, they’re clamouring to know where to get his wardrobe.
The 40-year-old has caused such a stir that he’s become the subject of hundreds of viral memes of him “aura farming” on the sidelines while his team plays.

When he was asked about going viral for his charismatic presence, Kompany joked: "If you didn't tell me about that now, I wouldn't know. There's only one Mr. Aura - and that's Rodyse [his assistant]. You know it.”
Where exactly does Kompany get his elite wardrobe from? Of course as the official sponsor of Bayern Munich, his head-to-toe look is adidas.
And even though one commentator suggested Kompany looked like he’d come from an Oasis gig at the recent Champions League Quarter-Final when he sported the adidas Originals Britcore parka and a Y-3 Dad Cap, many others have praised him for his youthful style.
Tiannah Pedler, a football fashion on TikTok, said of Kompany: “I’m not being funny but did Real Madrid actually expect to win when Vincent Kompany was dressed like this?
“This is an elite outfit. It’s giving a sense of occasion, it’s giving aura.”

She also drew style comparisons to his former boss Pep Guardiola, who managed Manchester City when Kompany was a player there.
In recent games Kompany has also been seen in an adidas Y-3 puffer coat and the Utility Cargo Tracksuit Bottoms, as well as a pair of vintage adidas Superstar trainers.
Another fan, Ore Olukoga, said Kompany was "redefining what it means to be a football manager” and that his style is very representative of his young Bayern squad, many of who were born in the 2000s.
“Bought that jacket as soon as Kompany came on screen”, gushed another TikTok fan of his parka coat.
“I am usually pro coaches wearing suits but drip like this is an exception,” and another said, “I legit have been trying to find the pants Pep wore during the Caraboa final because they are incredible.”
We’re keen to see how many aura points Kompany will get during his appearance on the sidelines as Bayern Munich play PSG in the Champions’ League Semi-Final tonight (Tuesday April 28) kick-off is at 8pm and you can watch it on Prime Video.
