Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend Vanessa shares cryptic post after KSI's controversial 'John Terry' comments at boxing event

She's posted a cryptic comment about 'small minds' and 'biggest mouths'... I wonder what that's about?

The ex-girlfriend of former footballer Wayne Bridge has posted a cryptic comment after KSI made some remarks over her alleged affair with John Terry.

The long and short of it is that Bridge, 44 - a former Chelsea and England footballer - had arranged to fight YouTuber KSI in the ring for a Misfits boxing event on 29 March.

During a Misfits event on 18 January, KSI, 31, stirred the pot by asking Bridge: "Aren't you the guy who let John Terry smash your ex?"

This prompted an unhappy reaction from the former footballer, who asked KSI if he really wanted to go there.

"I'm pretty sure that's what you're known for," KSI said to the crowd, before starting a chant about Bridge's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, who has always denied that she had an affair with Chelsea captain John Terry.

"Vanessa, woah, Vanessa, woah, she jumped on Terry's d**k, made big boy feel sick."

He got the crowd to join in on the chant and Bridge seemed up for a fight, saying 'you want it, you can get it', but yesterday (20 January) the former footballer hopped onto Instagram to say the fight was off and that KSI 'crossed a line'.

Now, Perroncel has made a mysterious comment on her own Instagram, posting a quote to her stories which said: "The smallest minds often come with the biggest mouths."

Quite who that's supposed to be targeted at I'm sure I don't know.

Bridge has a son, Jaydon Jean Claude Bridge, with Vanessa, and their relationship had lasted between 2005 and 2009.

In 2010 there were claims that Perroncel and Bridge's Chelsea team-mate John Terry had an affair shortly after she had split up with Bridge, which she has always denied.

In a match between Manchester City (Bridge had transferred there in 2009) and Chelsea, Bridge refused to shake Terry's hand prior to the game.

Bridge went on to marry The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford in 2014, and the couple have two children together.

In his own statement on the matter and the decision not to go ahead with the fight against KSI, Bridge wrote on Instagram: “I'm sure a lot of you have seen what happened on Saturday night at the Misfits Boxing event.

"Firstly, I think it's important that I explain my reason for accepting the fight. I always like to challenge myself. This felt like a good opportunity to go up against an interesting opponent on a big stage.

"I have always loved boxing as part of my everyday training routine. I was fully prepared to train hard and have some fun. Of course, I expected to face some criticism, but I feel like what was said on Saturday crossed a line.

"These are deeply personal comments that affect mine and other families involved in the situation. I'm a family man first and my priority is protecting them.

"My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids. I hope one day he will look back on this differently. I personally don't want to be involved in these exchanges."

The former footballer said that there were still 'exciting things coming up in 2025' and thanked people for all their support.

He said: "The support has been overwhelming. I want my friends and family to know how special they are. Deep down I know this is the right thing to do."
