A video of Stacy Solomon voicing her views of the Royal Family has resurfaced, just in time for the Platinum Jubilee. Watch below:

The TV presenter was discussing the royals with her fellow Loose Women panellists and shared some pretty interesting thoughts.

The clip is doing the rounds as the bank holiday celebrations continue to mark 70 years of the Queen's reign.

In the clip, the singer explains why she doesn't see much of a difference between the Queen and people like her.

"I just don't get it. I don't get any of it. I don't get why we're so obsessed with these humans that are exactly the same [as us]. Like it could be us four sitting there. Like, I just don't get it."

Co-host Kaye Adams doesn't seem convinced though and asks the mum: "But are you talking about, what you mean as Royals? Or as like Kim Kardashian? Because for me they're becoming celebrities."

Solomon aptly responds: "Well, to me, that's all they are."

Still, Adams doesn't agree, her view is that the Queen is 'brilliant' for her sense of 'duty' and hard work.

However, Solomon chimed back in with an argument that's pretty hard to ignore: "But I would work hard if the whole country paid for me to have, like, 12 houses."

"People are thinking that already.

"It's freezing cold outside and people are homeless and these people have houses to spare and it does sometimes become a little bit frustrating because I don't see the purpose of all of that money going to this entire family."

And Solomon wasn't the only one to share those thoughts with people quickly taking to Twitter to comment on the Royals.

With one writing: "Totally agree. In the 21st century and we still have a royal family. Funny how ppl say they bring in a lot of money to the U.K. but no one ever shows you the actual figures. Cost of royal family compared to the revenue they generate."

While another said: "On a day of Jubilee celebrations, that will cost £50ml, for a family worth hundreds of millions, who we give £87.5ml of tax payers money to each year; it’s worth remembering there will be 17-year-olds forced to work today on a minimum wage of £4.81 an hour."

However others, comparing the royals to the Kardashians, argued: "She’s not wrong but why do people have such a huge problem with paying for the royals to have the lives they have, but have no problem paying for a Kylie lip kit or a Skims that ultimately funds all of their houses and cars?"

So, what's your take on the Royals?
