Lad on stag do wakes up from Ibiza holiday in plane overhead carriage

People are flooding to social media in stitches over footage of a groom-to-be 'waking up' in the overhead carriage on a plane.

The more I hear about stag and hen do's, the more terrified I get, but then again, if you don't end up in a different country, embarrassing situation, crashing a cattle mart in Ireland or waking up in a airplane's overhead locker, are you even doing it right?

Although surely you'd have to have had a hell of a stag weekend if your mates were able to lift you into an overhead locker without you realising?

Either way, Thomas Gray's stag do story will always remain number one, but this one's pretty hilarious too.

Peek-a-boo.

Posted by Dom Dolla, the video shows a man's head poking out of the overhead carriage on a plane, looking round with a fairly bewildered expression before slowly crawling out and making his way back down.

The caption reads: "One minute you're at a club in Ibiza... the next you wake up int the [...] overhead carriage.

"40 dudes at the back of the plane were having a TIME… they pushed their mate in there as the plane landed."

If that was how wild the stag do was at the end, just imagine how chaotic it must've been at the beginning.

Apparently the stag's friends popped him up after they landed.

Social media users have flocked to the post in amusement over the lad ending up in the overhead locker.

One TikTok user wrote: "I need to know everything about this story immediately."

"Respect for making it on the flight," another said.

Even Jedward got involved: "What a moment to see."

And a fourth resolved: "If this ain't me leaving Ibiza I don't want it."

If that's how the stag do ended, imagine how it begun.

However, others were more focused on what the lad was wearing.

"Why is he wearing a full Arsenal kit?" a user questioned.

A second said: "Naaa in full kit that's crazy."

"Why he gotta be in an arsenal kit. Clearly didn't close just like the premier league," another wrote.

At least this stag made it there and back in one piece and with all his friends in tow, with another soon-to-be husband having been left to party alone after the other 18 from his party ended up stranded in the UK.

Despite being forced to go solo, Afsheen ‘Af’ Marseh soldiered on, attending a boat party - for one - an all you can drink - for one - and a pub crawl and bar crawl solo too.

Af may have had to challenge himself to down a pint, but at least he didn't end up being stuffed into an overhead carriage on a flight eh?
