Stranger Things Fans Overwhelmed By Who Answers The Phone After Calling Pizza Van Number

Eagle-eyed fans viewers were quick to notice the telephone number displayed on the side of Argyle's pizza van

Stranger Things fans have been left stunned to learn who answers the Surfer Boy Pizza telephone number that is displayed on the side of the van in season 4. Watch what happens if you call the number:

Eagle-eyed fans viewers were quick to notice the telephone number displayed on the side of Argyle's pizza van is actually a real working landline.

Viewers were introduced to Argyle in the latest instalment of Netflix's hit series. Argyle who is a good friend of Johnathan Byers works for Surfer Boy Pizza in California, and is usually spotted driving a yellow van with the pizza company's telephone number plastered on its side.

Writing in the Facebook group Netflix Bangers, a fan shared a screenshot of Argyle and the van and instructed others to call the number. They wrote: "YA’LL NETFLIX REALLY OUTDID THEMSELVES. Call the number on Argyles Surfer Boy Pizza van and thank me later."

Fans immediately flocked to dial the number and were surprised to hear Argyle at the other end of the line.

Argyle can be heard saying: "Surfer Boy Pizza, this is Argyle speaking. We make everything fresh here at Surfer Boy, except for our pineapple which comes from a can, but I still recommend slapping some juicy pineapple on. Oh, fruit on your pizza is gnarly you say? Well I say try before you deny!”

Some fans have taken to TikTok to share the moment they dialled the number, while others took to Twitter to share how impressed they were by the clever stunt.

One user said: "OHH MY GOD, FINALLY! a tv show actually DID something with the phone number they used! if it’s busy, call again! #StrangerThings #Argyle."

Another wrote: "Absolutely love Stranger Things. If you call the phone number on the side of the Surfer Boy Pizza van, Argyle will answer. So cool of them to do that."

A third user said: "Call the phone number on the side of Argyle’s Surfer Boy Pizza van. Do it! You’re welcome in advance, but do it."

Season four of Stranger things has amassed 1.15 billion total viewing hours in the first 28 days and is the first English-language series to reach the milestone.
