There’s nothing more frustrating than reaching for a nice fluffy towel before your shower, only to find it’s still not dry.

But people think they’ve found a ‘game changing’ solution to the common problem in the depths of British winter.

The ‘energy saving’ product has saved customers a fortune as it only costs 7p per hour to run, with many saying they ‘now can't live without it’.

At just £40, it's selling out fast and has received hundreds of positive reviews online.

One happy customer wrote, “Needed to find a cheaper and quicker way to dry clothes in the winter. I shopped around and Dunelm came up with the cheapest - I’ve been using it for a week now and it's an absolute game changer.”

Another agreed with this sentiment, as their five-star review reads: “Wonderful product and it barely costs anything to run! I think I may even invest in a second one soon, as it saves me so much time and money.”

A third customer is also impressed and has relied on the heated clothes airer during the cold winter months.

“Fantastic item, very handy, especially with the colder months coming in, as it will free up the radiators in the house,” they wrote. “It’s more convenient too, as the heating bills are only going up! Very happy with this. It heats up the room too.”

To sum it up, one shopper simply wrote: "Cost of living crisis = sorted." Now, that's what we like to hear.

What's so good about the popular heated airer?

The viral household product in question is Dunelm’s £40 Heated Airer With Wings. Factoring in the rise in energy bills from October 2024, it will cost approximately '7p to run' according to customers, and can hold up to 10kg of washing at a time - ideal during the cost of living crisis.

Significantly cheaper than some of its competitors, it folds away neatly so won’t take up too much room in a small flat and has an illuminated on and off switch with a power capacity of 220 watts.

It’s undeniably one of the most affordable heated clothes airers on the market and can be used with an airer cover to further enhance drying times.

Where can I buy the clothes heated airer?

The popular Heated Airer With Wings is now available on Dunelm for £40 but is sure to sell out, so don’t wait until the cold snap arrives to invest.

Buy now.
