Aaron Rodgers has claimed that Shailene Woodley reportedly requested to sleep with another person after accepting his proposal.
Rodgers, 42, spoke to the Not Just Football podcast on YouTube where he spent some time reflecting on his engagement to Woodley back in December 2020.
Speaking to the podcast, he said: “She said yes. … A couple days after that she tells me, ‘Before we get married I gotta go **** this guy'.”
He didn't identify precisely who it was that Woodley, known for her roles in the Divergent film series and A Fault in Our Stars, had been speaking about during the exchange, however he said that a few months later in March 2021 she 'took off the ring'.

During the interview he said that she may have 'felt like she was forced to make a decision' but added that she 'could have said no.'
Rodgers went on to say that after ending their engagement, they 'had a couple of times where we tried to get reunited', but said that 'nothing ever happened'.
“There wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break off," he said. "She literally told me, ‘I don’t want to be with you,’ after we tried some reconciliation in 2021.”

Rodgers went on to complain about his exes, including Woodley, criticising him in interviews, saying: "The height of their fame was when they were with me. They get clicks when they say my name, just like the idiots on TV get clicks when they say my name because I'm a lightning rod."
“Move on with your life," he said. "Don’t mention me.”
He added: “Shai, you left me, you took the ring off. Her story is that I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her. … What are we talking about regarding me ruining your life?”
These remarks appear to refer to an interview that Woodley gave with Outside magazine in 2024, where she said that their relationship was 'not right', as well as alluding to a 'really awful, traumatic' incident from 2022.

She said: “I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy. I really understood depression and anxiety and, like, complete soul detachment. I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing.”
Woodley would go on to refer to this period as the 'lowest low of [her] life'.
In February 2021 it was first reported that Rodgers and Woodley had started dating later on in 2020, and only a few days later the news was shared that they had gotten engaged.
Rodgers has since confirmed that he is married to a woman named Brittani. Though exactly who she is remains a mystery Rodgers has previously referred to her as 'the one that got away'.
He said that they had dated in 2017 but gone on to separate, before later getting back together.
Woodley meanwhile has not publicly confirmed that she is dating anyone at present, Page Six reports.
LADBible has approached representatives of Shailene Woodley for comment.
