You know you’re getting old when a vacuum cleaner feels exciting.

But Amazon shoppers have been raving about a household ‘game changer’ that is now almost half price in a huge flash sale.

With over 18,000 reviews and over 1,000 purchased on Amazon in the last month alone, the Shark Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a surprisingly hot topic of conversation right now.

TikTokers have even been posting unboxing videos of the cult household item with followers rushing to find out where they can bag the vacuum on offer.

One user by the name of @mylittlehome said the vacuum is 'sleek and lightweight' with 'front lights to see any dirt you might have missed'.

Over in the Amazon reviews section, shoppers are also raving about the product. One customer wrote, “Absolutely blown away. Didn't think my other hoover was too bad until I unboxed this! Gave the house a quick once over and the tank was full! I would recommend it to everyone!”

Another echoed this sentiment, as they added: “The suction is out of this world, I cannot believe it. I honestly never thought I would be able to get rid my house of pet hair. This is absolutely wonderful.”

A third simply wrote, "Better than Dyson."

What’s so good about it?

The Shark Corded Vacuum Cleaner has gone down particularly well with pet owners, as it will capture 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum. It will tackle any space with specific heads such as the pet tool, upholstery tool, and crevice tool.

One happy customer wrote, “This hoover is amazing. My whippet has been malting and covering our rug in white hairs, which our previous hoover wouldn't touch. Even on minimum power, this took care of all the fluff easily.”

It has the ability to switch between carpet and hard floor modes and can even turn into a portable vacuum to clean stairs, sofas, and hard-to-reach places.

There are front lights too to make sure you don't miss any dust or dirt.

It has up to one hour of cleaning power and comes with a five-year guarantee (two years for batteries). What more could you ask for?

Where to buy on sale

The Shark Vacuum Cleaner is now on sale on Amazon, reduced from £229.99 to £131 (that’s a saving of 43%). The incredible offer is only available for Amazon Prime members - and ends tonight at 11.59pm (Wednesday 9 October).

If you’re not a member, it’s worth signing up for a 30-day free trial. After that, a subscription will cost £8.99 or £95 per year. See you at the checkout.
