A husband was absolutely fuming after being forced to carry his luggage in a shopping bag to the airport stag do because the Mrs hid his suitcase. And judging by his reaction, it definitely wasn't the best way to start the holiday:
Upset holiday-goer Darren Carrier turned up at Newcastle Airport yesterday morning (22 September) ahead of a lads holiday to Benidorm, Spain, carrying a reusable bag for life filled with his belongings.

His wife Julie apparently decided to hide his suitcase the night before after he left it to the last minute to tell her that he was off to a stag do the following day.
It's safe to say that Julie did not take the news very well.
As shown in the clip above, Darren's mate, Grumet Mason, who captured the footage, tells him: “You can’t go on a plane with that, Darren.”
Darren replies: “I f**king can, she’s hid my suitcase, mad cow.”
Grumet continues to take the p*ss, saying: “You’ve got a bag for life.”

The husband hits back: “I did have, I’m going to pack her in when I get home.”
“Are you getting a divorce?” jokes Grumet.
Darren swiftly replies: “Yes.”
It got even worse for the council worker as airport staff told him his 'luggage' was not suitable for flight.

Out of pure desperation, Darren managed to find a ripped up Louis Vuitton bag in the bin to stick his clothes into.
As he fills the bag up with his personal belongings, the handle completely gives way and Darren's mate can't help but rip into him.
The video has since gone viral, with Grumet captioning the TikTok: “Only in Benidorm."
Speaking on Thursday (22 September), Grumet said: “His wife had gone away to Benidorm with the girls on the hen party a few weeks ago.

“We were going over this week for the stag and Darren thought that his wife would be ok with it but he only told her the night before.
“So he turned up at the airport with that and we couldn’t believe it but he just said that she’d hid his suitcase.
“The Ryanair staff were saying they couldn’t let him on the flight with that as his pants and socks might fall out and land on someone.
“He was panicking and didn’t know what to do but we found a Louis Vuitton bag in the bin and just chucked his stuff in it and luckily they let him through.
“We were just happy that he got through customs but it was hilarious, I think even the staff were trying not to laugh at times when they were saying he couldn’t use the bag for life.

“We were all in pieces, laughing away and he was sweating, it was comical.
“It was touch and go for Darren but we made the flight and can enjoy the stag now.”
The video has been viewed over 890,000 times with 45,000 likes and over 500 comments.
