Bride-to-be encourages her fella to sleep with other women and then befriends them over breakfast

Charlize Storm wants to be 'besties' with her fiancé's polyamorous partners

Most people don’t like to share their partner but one woman doesn’t mind and even encourages her beau to get jiggy with other women.

There’s nothing like entering a new and exciting relationship, but once the butterflies have gone, it’s typically the time when you get comfortable and think about your future of being monogamous.

However, one bride-to-be will never lose her butterflies, mostly because she’s in the ‘healthiest relationship’ she’s ever been in, and it’s not just with her husband-to-be.

In fact, not only does she partake in other relationships outside of her main one, but she actively wants him to do it to.

And what’s more… she befriends those ladies over breakfast the next morning.

Well, that’s one way to find something in common with a person.

Charlize Storm first began an open relationship after ending her 23-year marriage three years ago, who said she dabbled in 'extra-curricular relationships' when she was younger.

She said: "When I was younger, I had sort of extra-curricular relationships.

"I've never been one for being deceitful so I would always tell somebody when I'd been with someone else, which led to arguments and resentment.

"I'd never really tried anything like [polyamory] before. I just kind of threw myself into finding who I was.”

But she met her soon-to-be-husband Matt Johnson, and her first 'poly partner', in May 2022.

She explained that she was holidaying in New Zealand when the pair met, and the rest is history.

For those of you who don’t know, ‘poly’ is polyamory, the practice of romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, but everyone is aware of the set up and consents to it.

Matt, who similarly began to experiment with polyamory at the end of his previous marriage, moved to England a year after locking eyes with Charlize where they began a long-term relationship with each other and others.

At one point, Charlize said she was juggling four partners at the same time, while Matt had three on the go.

The mum-of-two Charlize said it’s all about honesty but sometimes feels resentment and jealousy towards Matt's partners.

The pair will be getting married in the next few years but are adamant that their set-up will stay she same, and they even recommend others give polygamy a go too.

"Polyamory allows me to be totally myself, it just felt natural to me,” the mother shared. "Because me and Matt have come into our relationship as poly, it's a lot easier because we're able to date other people and be honest with our partner."

Dad-of-three Matt added: "Me and Charlize have really good chemistry, we have similar ideals.

"Every connection is different. You will find a person that is polyamorous that requires things that you can't always deliver on and the beauty of that is that they find another partner who can deliver on those."

While others might be caught up with their jealousy and become worried that their partner would fall in love with someone else, Charlize says she’d be ‘super excited for him and also want her to be my bestie’ as she’s already friends with one of his partners in NZ.

The couple have strict rules with their other partners, such as having to wear condoms, but aside from all that, they love their life.
