A British woman who was allegedly stabbed to death in Cambodia is believed to have been killed as a result of a 'love triangle'.
Local police confirmed that British national Jessica Cariad Hopkins is believed to have died from multiple stab wounds in Phnom Penh, just before midnight on Friday (29 August).
A woman has now been arrested on suspicion of killing Hopkins, with local police revealing they believe the attack was motivated by a love triangle, in which both women were allegedly involved.
The woman, who has been identified as Congolese national Kidikila Nganda Glodie, was arrested at a salon less than 24 hours after the stabbing in the city's Daun Penh area, which is 1.5 miles from the scene, according to The Daily Express.
