Internationally renowned Kick streamer Adin Ross has revealed he won a small fortune after betting $1 million (£777,400) on Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 US presidential election.

78-year-old Trump stormed to victory in the election, with the result known within hours of polls closing on Tuesday (5 November).

This was despite pollsters saying the result was on a knife-edge with both Trump and his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, sitting even in the polls.

But Harris' loss was realised within hours of polls closing, with Trump storming back into the White House as he looks to take over Washington DC with his Make America Great Again movement.

One of Trump's supporters, streamer Adin Ross, took to social media before the result was confirmed to announce he had placed a $1m bet on Trump winning back power.

And, given the result, drinks are very much on the 24-year-old internet personality.

Ross has risen to global fame in the last decade through his online streams on Twitch, before he was permanently banned from the platform in 2023. He now fronts up Kick, with him one of the platforms most viewed stars.

In August, he visited Trump at his Floridian resort Mar-a-Lago where he went live on Kick with the former The Apprentice frontman.

During the visit, Trump was gifted a Tesla Cybertruck wrapped in a now iconic photograph of the 45th POTUS seconds after the attempted assassination attempt on him in July. Ross also handed Trump a Rolex watch, to top it all off.

Reacting to the Cybertruck, Trump referenced Tesla CEO Elon Musk, saying: "Wow. That's an Elon. That is beautiful. I think it's incredible."

On the bet from the 2024 election result, Ross took to X (formerly Twitter) where he revealed he had made $660,000 profit on the $1 million bet, which is roughly £513,000.

Ross revealed he placed the bet on 10 October, when Trump was odds on at 4/6 to secure the presidency. He also revealed he was giving away $100,000 (£77,700) from the fund, split between 10 people, to celebrate Trump's win.

Ross posted on X: "Trump 2024. I put a million on the boss. I know he’s gonna secure it for America.

"The only presidential candidate that’s fit right for this country. I’ll be giving away $10,000 to 10 people who like this tweet and reply with a form of payment."

Trump won the presidency after clearing the 270 electoral votes mark when securing the state of Wisconsin, clinching the keys to the Oval Office.

He said he had won 'an unprecedented and powerful mandate', adding: "Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve, and that you deserve.

"This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again."
