The Prince and Princess of Wales have spoken publicly about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's links to Jeffrey Epstein for the first time, saying they are 'deeply concerned' by the unfolding situation.
Further information relating to Mountbatten-Windsor's relationship with disgraced financier Epstein was revealed in the latest document dump released by US authorities, sparking new allegations against Prince William's uncle.
Among the claims are that a second woman was sent to the UK by paedophile Epstein for an alleged sexual encounter with Mountbatten-Windsor, and also that the former prince and Epstein asked an exotic dancer for a 'threesome' in Epstein’s Florida home.
Images of the former prince kneeling over a woman were also included in the files, while further allegations suggest he shared confidential reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore in his role as the UK’s trade envoy.

The former Duke of York has consistently denied the allegations against him, and being named or pictured in the files is not an indication of wrongdoing.

Responding to the unfolding allegations, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace released the following statement on behalf of Prince William and Princess Kate.
"I can confirm The Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations," the statement read. "Their thoughts remain focused on the victims."
It is the first time the views of William and Kate have been known about the situation that has engulfed the monarchy and Westminster. However, the couple are not the first members of the Royal Family to speak out, as Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, was previously asked for his thoughts while undertaking royal engagements at the World Governments Summit in Dubai.

"Well, with the best will in the world, I'm not sure this is the audience that is probably the least bit interested in that," he told CNN reporter Eleni Giokos.
"They all came here to listen to education, solving the future, but no, I think it's all really important always to remember the victims, and who are the victims in all this? A lot of victims in this."
Meanwhile, emails from Andrew's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also suggested the convicted sex offender had fathered a 'secret son' before his death in 2019.

"Don’t know if you’re still on this bbm [BlackBerry Messenger) but have heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy," read the email, with 'the Duke' likely being a reference to Ferguson's ex-husband.
"Even though you never kept in touch, I am still here with love, friendship and congratulations on your baby boy."
The message is then signed off with 'Sarah x'.
Prior to the claims made in Ferguson's email, it was believed that Epstein did not have any children.
