Usher has been forced to deny using a body double for his performances after a bizarre 'body double' rumour goes viral.
In case you haven't seen the recent headlines, the R&B singer is currently touring across the US alongside Chris Brown.
However, clips from a Performance at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on Friday have gone viral after people suggested he was using a clone or body double for the performance.
The rumour gained traction after fans began zeroing in on Usher's appearance in various concert videos doing the rounds online. "Usher, you can't fool New York that's not you bro. I want my money back," read one comment.

"Why'd you have to play us like that last night," added a second, while a third referred to the singer's alleged doppelganger as 'Unsure'.
However, it didn't take long for the rumours to make it back to the 47-year-old singer, who swiftly debunked the claims in a series of Instagram comments.
"Ya'll are funny...clone? They can't clone this??" he wrote underneath one post discussing the claims, adding: "How ya'll come up with this? AI ain't that advanced."

This isn't the first time Usher - full name Usher Raymond IV - has faced allegations of using a body double on stage, with the singer previously forced to deny similar claims during his Past Present Future tour in 2024.

Meanwhile, Usher has also been receiving plenty of attention for his provocative dancing with fans, which saw one woman booted off-stage after she appeared unimpressed with the 'Yeah!' singer's moves.
Recorded during his stop in Nashville last month, Usher invited a fan onstage while he performed 2004 hit 'Can U Handle It?' and danced rather sensually upon her.
However, the woman did not appear to be receptive, prompting the singer to stand up and tell the crowd: "I don't think she wanna be on stage."
A recording of the moment later made its way to social media, with people questioning why the woman - later identified as Gabrielle Cheyenne - had agreed to head up there in the first place.
Cheyenne later took to social media to defend herself, explaining that she would've had a different reaction if she'd been on stage with Chris Brown. Ouch.
Usher addressed the incident again at a later concert, telling fans not to bother coming on stage if they didn't want to be there.

Another woman would later get to live out Cheyenne's fantasy of dancing with Chris Brown, after the 'With You' singer brought a fan onstage during a concert in Syracuse, New York earlier this month.
Inviting the woman up during a performance of his 2007 hit 'Take You Down', Brown proceeded to perform what most people would describe as soft porn in front of the 35,000-person audience.
The dance began with the 37-year-old grinding against the woman while she was tied to a pole. A second video later revealed that the pair then moved to a bed set up on stage, allowing Brown to simulate an act which doesn't need spelling out to you.
