A woman claiming to be missing British toddler Madeleine McCann underwent a DNA test that confirmed her heritage.

Julia Wandelt, who is also known by the names Julia Faustyna and Julia Wendell, went public in 2023 with claims she was the missing little girl all grown up.

Madeleine went missing back in 2007 while on a family holiday in Portugal with mum and dad Kate and Gerry McCann.

The highest profile missing persons case in modern history, the whereabouts of the Leicester toddler remain unknown to this day, with millions spent on trying to find the three-year-old.

Madeleine had been sleeping in her hotel room with her siblings while her parents enjoyed a meal at a nearby restaurant. They checked on the children numerous times during the evening, but when Kate did so at 10pm, she could not find the little girl anywhere.

Wandelt has this week released new 'evidence' that claims she is the missing girl, following on from the frenzy caused by her announcement last year.

Speaking this week on the Break The Ice podcast, Julia has revisited her claims and apparent experiences from her youth.

“I remember being taken, I remember being abused before being taken, and I remember that I was put into the car," she claimed.

Wandelt also claims to have reached out to both Kate and Gerry, who she claims did not respond to her attempts.

This all comes in the aftermath of a DNA test Wandelt took in 2023 that seemed to settle the debate over her heritage.

Wandelt's legal representative and psychic medium, Dr. Fia Johansson, told Radar Online that Wandelt had undertaken a DNA test in 2023.

The results of this test showed that 'she is absolutely 100 percent from Poland',' Dr Johansson said.

"She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian, but the test results show she is Polish," she explained.

Dr Johansson said that the test proved her mother was '100 percent' her mum.

Obviously, Madeleine and the McCanns are not Polish, which put the issue to bed for many.

But Wandelt now claims to 'know more' than she did when taking the test in 2023.

She's also had extra insight on her upbringing and childhood from members of her family.

"No parents should act how my parents behave," she said.

Over on Instagram, her original 'I Am Madeleine McCann' Instagram has also been restored, with Wandelt regularly sharing updates from it to her personal account.
