I am delighted as you to find out that my job is on Microsoft's list of the top 20 jobs with the highest AI 'overlap'.
The tech giant has devised a list that is going to scare the living s**t out of a lot of working people with bills to pay.
But, an important thing to note is that Microsoft's list shows how good AI is at performing challenging tasks within occupations, rather than being able to perform the whole job on their own, thank God.
Kiran Tomlinson, a senior researcher in the AI Interaction and Learning group at Microsoft Research, said: “Our research shows that AI supports many tasks, particularly those involving research, writing and communication, but does not indicate it can fully perform any single occupation.”

The work 'explores which job categories can productively use AI chatbots, not take away or replace jobs', he told Sky News' Money team.

That being said, Joachim Klement, an analyst at city investment firm Panmure Liberum which studied the findings, still thinks that the technology is capable enough to do the lot.
“AI is coming for your job — at least if you are a white-collar worker,” Klement said.

On the other hand, the likes of nurses, ship engineers, plasterers, and water treatment operators were considered the safest from AI.
“The problem is that the researchers did not show average pay for each of these jobs, and somehow I think that working as a water treatment plant operator stinks, both literally and from a financial perspective when compared to working in finance,” Klement added.
