What's does the future have hold for Prince Andrew now that he's agreed to give up all of his royal titles?
The third child of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip has found himself embroiled in a number of scandals across the past couple of years.
In 2014, Virginia Giuffre came forward and alleged that she'd been sex trafficked to Andrew by convicted paedophiles Jeffrey Epstein and and Ghislaine Maxwell in the early 2000s – allegations which the royal 'vigorously denies'.
Giuffre would later sue the Prince for sexual assault in a New York court, which was later settled in 2022.

Amidst the allegations, Andrew stepped down from royal duties and earlier this month agreed to relinquish his titles, including being known as the Duke of York, following a 'discussion with the King'.

Alongside giving up the title of Duke of York, Prince Andrew also agreed to give up all of his peerages and honours, including the prestigious Order of the Garter and the Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh. He retains his title of prince, but no longer uses the title His Royal Highness (HRH).
However, there have been calls for Andrew to lose the remainder of his titles and royal privileges, especially as Giuffre's posthumous memoir goes on sale tomorrow.
"The only way the story will go away is if he leaves Royal Lodge, goes into exile abroad with his ex-wife, and is basically stripped of all his honours, including Prince Andrew," Andrew Lownie, author of The Rise And Fall Of The House Of York, previously told Sky News.

Could Andrew lose his title of prince?

Despite calls for him to give up the sprawling 30-room mansion this is unlikely to happen, as Andrew's tenancy is secured by a long-term lease with the Crown Estate which lasts until 2078.
The house is also believed to come with a £3million-a-year bill for security (according to The Mirror).
How much is Prince Andrew worth, and how does he make money?
No longer a working royal, Andrew is not eligible to receive funding from the Sovereign Grant. King Charles also cut him off from the Privy Purse last year, which he was thought to be receiving as much as £250,000 a year.
According to Metro, Andrew is estimated to be worth £3.7million, with his money coming from personal business investments.

Why Prince Andrew is 'unlikely' to be seen with the King again
Andrew has repeatedly denied all accusations made against him, however his association with disgraced financier Epstein will have caused a major headache for the wider Royal Family.
Following the latest allegations claiming Prince Andrew attempted to launch a smear campaign against Virginia Giuffre and leaked emails suggesting he lied about the date which he cut ties with Epstein, the BBC confirmed he would not be spending Christmas at Sandringham
Meanwhile The Daily Mail says its unlikely he will ever be seen in public with the king again.
Why Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will get to keep their titles

What happens to Sarah Ferguson?
When Prince Andrew separated from his wife Sarah Ferguson in 1996, she was allowed to continue styling herself as the Duchess of York.
However Andrew's decision to give up his royal titles means that she will no longer be able to use the name in any capacity.
What has Prince Andrew said about the accusations made against him?
Prince Andrew continues to deny all accusations against him.
His most recent public statement, regarding the decision to give up his titles, is as follows: "In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family.
"I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.
"With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me.
"As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me."
