Three children missing after day out at Thorpe Park as police launch urgent search

Three children have been reported missing after a day out at Thorpe Park.

Police officers are looking for Khandi, 14, Amelia, nine, and Malik, seven, who were reported missing on Monday evening.

A search is now underway for the children.

Surrey Police have explained that all three children were seen walking away from the theme park, and in the direction of Staines, at around 3.17pm on Monday.

It is believed they could have been travelling to London.

While Khandi was wearing black or grey joggers, a white top, white trainers and black framed glasses, Amelia was wearing a grey, long-sleeved top with 'Believe' written on it.

Malik meanwhile, the youngest child, was wearing black jogging bottoms, black trainers and a green top with stripes.

Amelia and Malik are related, police have explained.


A statement from Surrey Police reads: "We are appealing for help in finding three missing children, who were last seen earlier yesterday evening (17 June).

"Officers are currently out searching for Khandi, 14, Amelia, 9, and Malik, 7, who were reported missing just after 7pm after a day out at Thorpe Park in Chertsey.

"Khandi is described as female, Black, 160cm tall, of a slim build and was wearing black or grey jogging bottoms, a white top, white trainers, black framed glasses, and multiple bracelets on each wrist.

"Amelia is described as female, European, 110cm tall, of a slim build and wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey long-sleeved top with “Believe” written on it and white trainers.

"Malik is described as male, European, 110cm tall, of a slim build and wearing black jogging bottoms, black trainers, and a green long-sleeved top with stripes.

"The two youngest children are related.

"All three were last seen walking away from the park towards Staines town centre around 3.17pm. It is believed they may have travelled to London.
